Gun Dog of the Year Retrieve: In 2003 Clearcut Grouse Tales earned 2nd place honors for this National Award 


First Place Win in Open Gun Dog at the North Country Field Trial in 2003.  Solon Springs, WI. (the last trial of the year)  The above Photo was taken after that win and gave Tales his 9th point toward his field championship. Approximately two months after this photo was taken Tales died unexpectedly of Bloat, only 1 point away from his Field Championship.  That was a tough day!
