"Ruger"

This dog is a serious grouse dog that attacks the habitat and flat out points Grouse.  Ruger has an excellent reputation in "Hunting Dead" and recovering cripples (Those birds that your clients never thought they hit).  He is a bigger running dog spending much of his time at the outer reaches of the Bell but yet he is always with you and hunting as part of the team. 

I have developed this dog to the point that when He is on the ground you just settle in with him and enjoy the ride!

The pictures above were taken during Woody's first formal training session as he was getting prepared for the 2007 hunting season.  Woody is 7 months old and owned by Jerry Ruuhela.  Based on what I saw Jerry and Woody are going to enjoy the Fall Season!

 

I bet by the end of the season his nick name will be "Grousy Grousedog"

Sharpshooter is a young female, she has been an exceptionally ease dog to develop and is currently steady to wing, shot and kill on liberated birds and retrieves. 

Shooter is close to medium ranging and points with style.

Greg Johnson is the owner of Snap and is experiencing some early success in the field. 

At the 2006 Gordon Setter National Championship Snap place 3rd in the open puppy and placed 3rd in the open Derby (she was only 7 months old at that time)

March 2007 Snap picked up her puppy points with a win at the Vizsla trial. 

Snap has placed in 7 of the 9 trials the she has been entered in!  Talking with Greg it sounds like She gets pretty jazzed when she is in competition, I can only imagine what she will be like on WILD BIRDS!  More to Come I am sure!

Clearcut Naughty But Nice "Lacey" is currently in the training Kennel.

Lacey is a year old at the time of this picture and is extremely stylish on point!

What can I say about Lacey!    She has alot of Snap Crackle and Pop!

This little dog has alot of "PRESENCE"  She hits the ground running and attacks the cover with speed and animation.  She is High Style in everything she does.... running.....hunting......pointing.... it's all done with Style. 

Grouse Hunting with Lacey should be real entertaining.  All that Energy is still being developed.  I like to progress the real spirited ones a little slower to insure that nothing is lost in the process.
