Clearcut Lightning Trap "Copper"

Talk About "WOW FACTOR"!  Copper comes from the heart of our grouse hunting line, having proved himself through many hours of grouse hunting in Northern Minnesota.  Copper is a dog that Clearcut Kennel has breed.  He is owned by my best hunting buddy, Tim Jensen.  The two of us have logged many hours of grouse hunting over Copper.  I can personally attest to the fact that Copper is the real Deal on birds.  When Tim is not grouse hunting over his dog, he can be found in Southern Minnesota or Iowa enjoying a long day of pheasant hunting.  As a result, Copper enjoys an extremely long season of wild bird hunting on an annual basis.  He starts his season in Mid-September in Northern Minnesota on Ruffed Grouse and closes the season down in Iowa on Rooster Pheasants.   We here at Clearcut Kennel are very excited about what this dog will bring to our future hunting dogs and breeding program.

"Deuce"

This is a picture of Deuce in training! 

After a number of years of being an extremely successful wild bird dog his owner Greg Johnson decided to try some off season activities so Deuce was sent out to be campaigned as a field trial dog on a part time basis.  In one and a half years time Deuce won three major trials in Texas, Minnesota and Missouri, two of which were retrieve stakes and one which was an all breed stake with 32 dogs that finished his Field Championship Title in March of 2006.  Deuce was recently named the Field Trial Dog of the Year for 2006 by the North Country Gordon Setter Club.  He earned this award by placing in 5 of the 7 trials that he ran in this past spring.

 Terms:
- The fee is $700 and due at the time of service, unless otherwise agreed. An extra fee will be charged for pickup and delivery of the dam.
- A negative brucellosis test is required before breeding.
- If, for some reason, the breeding cannot be accomplished, the stud fee will be refunded.
